WHAT IS WIFI DIRECT?HOW TO SHARE FILES WITHOUT XENDER/SHAREIT!

Hi guys after a long time in this post i have to tell you that in daily life we use smartphones in which sometimes we need to share media files, documents etc from one android to another. so, commonly we use third party apps like xender , shareit etc. to share our media files.

so i have an trick to share our files without any third party app, without bluetooth(obviously its too slow🙃).

There is a inbuilt feature in android that called 'WI-FI DIRECT ' 

so,

WHAT IS WI-FI DIRECT?

Wi-Fi Direct , initially called Wi-Fi P2P, is a Wi-Fi standard enabling devices to easily connect with each other without requiring a wireless access point. Wi-Fi Direct allows two devices to establish a direct Wi-Fi connection without requiring a wireless router.

Wi-Fi DIRECT PURPOSE !

Wi-Fi Direct is built upon the same WiFi technology used by most modern consumer electronic devices to communicate with wireless routers and It allows two devices to communicate with each other, provided that at least one of them is compliant with the standard to establish a peer-to-peer connection.

How to share files via Wi-Fi Direct ?

So, to share files via wifi direct we need to goto settings➡️connections➡️Wifi settings➡️enable wifi➡️ then you have to find wifi direct option maybe this option is in advanced or three dots in upper left.

then you have to do same in another mobile,and just connect to wanted device.

now simply open : file manager ➡️ select that file you want to share➡️ then click on share button, choose wifi direct option.

This wifi direct feature is incredeble!

we can share files at the speed of upto 7mb/s this is better than other third party apps like xender and shareit.i personally use this feature.
