WHAT IS VPN? ACCESS BLOCKED SITES?

A VPN (virtual private network) extends a private network across a public network, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.

why do I need it? How it works?

Have you know, that your ISP (internet service provider),government. are tracking you that what you are doing accross internet.

so,When you connect to a VPN, you create a secure, encrypted tunnel between your computer and the VPN remote server. The data is essentially gibberish to anyone who intercepts it. Your ISP, government or hackers won't know which websites you visit.

The VPN uses "virtual" connections routed through the Internet from the business's private network to the remote site or employee. By using a VPN, businesses ensure security -- anyone intercepting the encrypted data can't read it.

for example :- If you can't able open a site that means your IP has been blocked by server so, suppose, your IP is 192.168.42.9 (blocked IP)and you select a vpn server then you connects to a vpn in which your IP has changed to 192.167.35.6 and you open that website then that site wouldn't recognise you and you easily enter that site.

VPN was not the first technology to make remote connections.

10 things you didn't know you can do with a VPN

  • Avoid ISP tracking.
  • ...Online shopping from afar.
  • ...Accessing a home network.
  • ...Public Wi-Fi security.
  • ...Privacy from website info gathering.
  • ...Anonymous downloads.
  • ...Campus connection.
  • ...Streaming blocked content.

Can you be tracked if you use a VPN?

A VPN isn't therefore likely to protect you from an adversary like "Anonymous" unless they happen to be on the same local LAN as you. People can still trace you with other methods. Just because your IP is different and your traffic is encrypted in a tunnel doesn't mean you can't be tracked.
WARNING! don't think that you can't be tracked.it is only for those who wants to get privacy and wants to open blocked sites.

THERE IS NOTHING IN INTERNET WHICH CANNOT BE TRACED OR HACK.
